RMA Music Studio strives to provide quality music lessons by integrating various teaching methods, activities, and technology. Students will receive private and group lessons and be given multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. The following explains how RMA Music Studio runs and what is expected of students. RMA's teaching philosophy centers on creating dedicated music students and the studio policies reflect the concept. For this reason, all students and parents must understand and abide by the studio policies as outline below.
REGISTRATION
Rosemount Music Academy accepts music students of all ages and abilities based on availability year-round. New students may register online, by phone at 2024606219/3012565866, or in person at the academy. The annual registration fee is charged at enrollment for new students and returning students. The annual registration fee reserves your weekly time slots, and it covers your assignment notebooks, music lesson books, recital fees, and the costs associated with the registration process. Registration fees are non- refundable.
PAYMENTS
Lesson payment is made in advance. These are flat monthly fees to reserve your child's weekly time for lessons, whether you choose to attend or miss them. The number of lessons billed is based solely on the number of lessons for your given day in each month (most months have four (4) or five (5) lessons, and on rare occasions, three (3) lessons when in observance of a major national holiday. Payment should be made on the 1st day of the month. If payment is not received before the 10th day of the month, a $20.00 late fee will be incurred, and lessons will be suspended until payment is made. RMA accepts checks, cash, credit card Visa/Master Card, American Express, and Discover. An active credit card is required at the time of registration.
DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
Rosemount Music Academy reserves the right to stop a student's instructional activities if there is an unpaid account balance.
DISMISSAL
RMA reserves the right to dismiss any student due to frequent absences, disciplinary problems, overdue tuition payments, and/or parental noncompliance with Rosemount Music Academy policies.
Two Weeks' Notice of Cancellation: Students wishing to discontinue lessons must give the studio a minimum notice of TWO WEEKS.
ATTENDANCE, LATE PICKUP, MISSED LESSON & "MAKE UPS"
SUPPLIES
All instrumental music students must have an instrument on which to practice regularly.
PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT
Parental involvement is crucial to the success of each student. The assignment notebook is our weekly communication about expectations, assignments, scheduling reminders, and progress. Parents are also encouraged to attend and quietly observe lessons once a month.
