RMA Music Studio strives to provide quality music lesson by integrating a variety of teaching methods, activities, and technology. Students will receive private as well as group lessons and will be given multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. The following explain how RMA Music Studio runs and what is expected of students. RMA teaching philosophy centers on creating dedicated music students, and the studio policies reflect the concept. For this reason, its is important that all students and parents understand and abide by the studio policies as outline below.

REGISTRATION

Rosemount Music Academy accepts music students of all ages and abilities based on availability year round. New students may register at online, by phone 2024606219/3012565866 or in person at the academy. The annual registration fee of $50.00 are charged at the time of enrollment for new students and returning students. Families registering more than one child at the same time pay a maximum registration fee of $70.00. The annual registration fee reserves your weekly time slots and it covers your assignment notebooks, music lesson books, recital fees as well as the costs associated with the registration process. Registration fees are non- refundable.

PAYMENTS

Lesson payment is made in advance. These are flat monthly fees to reserve your child's weekly time for lessons, whether you choose to attend or miss. The number of lessons billed is based solely on the number of lessons for your given day in each month (most months have four (4) or five (5) lessons, and on rare occasions, three (3) lessons when in observance of major national holiday. Payment should be made on the 1st day of the month. If payment is not received before the 10th day of the month, a $20.00 late fee will be incurred and lessons will be suspended until payment is made. RMA accepts check, cash or credit card Visa/Master Card, American Express and Discover. An active credit card is required at the time of registration.

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS

Rosemount Music Academy reserves the right to stop a student's instructional activities if there is unpaid account balance.

DISMISSAL

RMA reserves the right to dismiss any student due to frequent absences, disciplinary problems, overdue tuition payments and/or parental noncompliance with Rosemount Music Academy policies.

Two Weeks' Notice of Cancellation: Students wishing to discontinue lessons must give the studio a minimum notice of TWO WEEKS.

ATTENDANCE, LATE PICK UP, MISSED LESSON & "MAKE UPS"

  • Lesson time cannot be extended due to late arrival.
  • Lesson payment is due regardless of missed lessons. If the instructor is absent, a substitute may replace the instructor for that week. There are no credits for lesson missed if the substitute has been provided.
  • If, for some reasons a lesson must be cancelled, please notify the studio 24 hours in advance to be considered for courtesy make up lessons. If the parent didn't call or email in advance, it is considered missed lesson, and no courtesy make up lesson will be offered.
  • Please note that any cancelled make up lesson will be considered redeemed. In other words, you cannot make up a make-up lesson.
  • To discuss student progress, parents are welcome to talk with the teacher during the first five minutes of the student's lesson-but not afterwards to respect the next student's time slot.
